Barbara "Kaye" Rogers, age 70, of Dowagiac, died peacefully Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the comfort of her family's presence. Her life began February 4, 1952, in Berrien Springs, Michigan, the youngest of three children born to Fred and Margerie Cantrell.

Barbara was known as "Kaye" to her friends and family. She had a love of NASCAR, horseback riding, fishing, and the great outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her fishponds and her crazy collection of frogs. She took pleasure in cooking out with her family and friends. Kaye was always up for a good time.

Kaye will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by three daughters, Staci Lawson of Tennessee; Missy Kandlstorfer of Michigan; Sherri (Shawn) Neff of Vicksburg; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Linda) Cantrell of Sodus; one sister, Genny Wheeler of Benton Harbor; her best friend Sandra (Scott) Knapp of Dowagiac; and her beloved dog JP.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mandi Kay Greenfield; one son Thomas Thorn; and one brother-in-law, Ronnie Wheeler.

The family will observe a memorial service on a date and at a time, to be announced. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner Family Funerals Connelly Chapel, Cassopolis.

The family prefers contributions in memory of Kaye be made to Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis, Michigan 49031, to assist in defraying expenses.
