George Grayson Robinson, 97, born August 29, 1924 in Granite City, Illinois to George Nicholas Robinson and Elma Sarah Grayson Robinson, passed away February 14, 2022 in Ocala, Marion County, Florida.

George is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved to sail and to travel with his wife. George retired as a Professor of Physics, Astronomy and Geology from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida.

He was preceded in death by both parents; his daughter, Tracy Smith Robinson Oliver and son-in-law, Raymond Jeffrey Harmon in 2021;

George is survived by his wife of nearly 66 years, Judith Ray Robinson; daughter, Sandra Sue Harmon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren

The Robinson family will receive friends 11AM-12PM, Friday, February 25, 2022 for a Visitation Gathering with a 12PM Service of Remembrance at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1831 SE 18th Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34471 with Bro. Griese officiating. A Graveside Blessing will immediately follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 5050 SW 20th Street, Ocala, Florida 34474. The United States Army will render military honors graveside in recognition of World War II Veteran Sgt. George Grayson Robinson's service to a grateful nation.
