Betty J. Lambert, 74, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Bryan Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Bryan. She was born March 6, 1947, in Bryan, Ohio, daughter of the late Lowie and Gertrude (Bleikamp) Lambert. She was a 1965 graduate of Bryan High School, and then attended Bowling Green State University, where she obtained her bachelor's degree, and then her master's degree in education. Betty worked as a seventh grade Language Arts teacher at Bryan City Schools for 25 years, retiring in 2000. With a passion for both education and music, she volunteered as the choir director at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bryan for many years; she was also a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association. In her free time, Betty enjoyed gardening, writing, and making music.

Betty is survived by one sister-in-law, Martha Lambert of Bryan, Ohio; three nephews, Bruce (Loretta Baker) Bleikamp of Antwerp, Ohio, Brad (Connie) Bleikamp of Edgerton, Ohio, William C. (Karla) Lambert, Jr. of Bryan, Ohio; one niece, Kim (Jason) Herman of Edon, Ohio; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William C. Lambert, Sr.; and one nephew, Brian Bleikamp.

Visitation for Betty Lambert will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home – Lynn Street Chapel, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio. Funeral services for Betty will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in the funeral home with Pastor Dorothy Ritchey-Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan.
