Larry David Carter of Elkin passed away February 16, 2022 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.
Larry was born April 19, 1948 in Surry County to Billy David Carter and Elsie Virginia Terry Carter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Mary Carter.
Survivors include his loving wife, Maxine Carter of the home; son Wayne Carter and his wife Billye of Elkin; step-daughters, Jaime Higgins Haynes and her husband Brad of Jonesville, Wendy Higgins Quesenberry and her husband Wayne of Dobson; brothers, Lanny Carter and his wife Debbie of Elkin, Terry Carter and his wife Malynda of Elkin and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel
