Lillian passed away on February 09, 2022. She was born on February 16, 1924 in Ashland City to the late W.J. Read and Lela Justice Read.
She retired as a fancy stitcher from Acme Boot in Ashland City, TN. A follower of Christ and matriarch of her family, she enjoyed sewing and traveling. She made the best chocolate pies and her family was her greatest joy.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Willie Bishop Lewis, husband of 9 years, Fendrix B. Williams, and grandson Travis Goodwin. She is survived by her son, Gregory Lewis, daughter, Letticia (Glenn) Goodwin; stepsons Jimmy (Elaine) Williams, and Terry (Kathy) Williams; adopted son Harris (Pat) Nicholson; grandchildren Julie (Jep Harr) Lewis, Nolen (Samantha) Balch, Brannon (Erin) Goodwin, and Derrick Goodwin; great-grandchildren Syrus Harr, Shiloh Harr, Jaxon Harr, Lola Balch, Jake Ludovisse, Kennedy Goodwin, Nora Goodwin, and Travis Goodwin; and countless nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Nolen Balch, Brannon Goodwin, Jep Harr, Harris Nicholson, Rickey Ray, and Eddie Marshbanks.
