Betty Ann Therber, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on February 11, 2022. She was born on January 26, 1942, to Charles Beckham and Amanda Lee (King) Claybrooks in Evansville, Indiana.

Betty graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. She enjoyed caring for children, gardening flowers and vegetables, cooking, and yard sales. She had the biggest heart and cared for her family, friends, and others. She loved being surrounded by her family, they were her greatest joy. She worked hand in hand with her husband, Jerry, on his home place, restoring and repairing cars. She left many precious memories.

Betty is survived by daughters Jerri Ann Therber, Terri (Greg) Burkett, her granddaughter Megan (Josh) Mayes, great-grandson Hunter Baker; siblings Bobby Jean and Fanny (Larry) Lisembee; and nieces, nephews, and loving extended family. Her long-time friends Alberta "sweetie" Halverson and Betty Grubb.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Martin Therber; her parents Charles Beckham and Amanda; mother-in-law Clara and father-in-law Lloyd; and grandson Joshua Martin Burkett.
