Funeral service for Ruth Hogan Bass, 79, will be Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Rice officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship (South of Danville). Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bass died on Monday, February 14, 2022 at her residence. She was born January 19, 1943, in Morgan County to Lewis Glenn Jackson and Sarah Lemmie Brown Jackson.

She was employed by SCI, in Quality Control, prior to her retirement. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her first husband: Richard Doyle Hogan, her parents, two brothers: Richard Jackson and Billy Jackson, a sister: Faye Welborn, and two brother-in-laws: Tony Leopard and Grover Welborn.
