Sandy L. Smith, 66, of Lewistown, passed away at 9:25 PM, Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Greenwood Center, Lewistown.

Born July 4, 1955, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Spangler E. and Isabel (Seaholtz) Knepp, of Mcveytown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married on August 8, 1972, Harry J. (Punk) Smith Jr., who passed away January 7, 2017. Also preceding her in death, are sisters, Carol A. Snyder, and Martha L. Ross.

Sandy is survived by her daughters, LuAnn R. (Charles) Hicks of Lewistown & Amy E. (George) Evans, also of Lewistown; grandchildren, Donovan Hicks (Tara), of Yeagertown, Zachary Hicks (Gabrielle), of McVeytown, and Jonah Evans, of Lewistown; five great-granddaughters; and three sisters and three brothers.

Sandy was a seamstress at several different clothing manufacturers throughout her lifetime, Scotty's Fashions being the main one for many years before their closing in 2002.

Sandy was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed motorcycle rides and woodworking with her husband, going camping, especially at the beach and doing crafts and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was loved and appreciated by those that knew her.

There will be no public service and burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
