Ruth E. Loder, the daughter of George R. Loder and Hannah Wallace Loder, was the 1st wife of John Dowden Norris. Their son, Edgar, was born and died in 1858. Their daughter, Hannah "Annie" Loder was the wife of Dr. Edward "Ed" Terrill. Hannah was born in 1855, and died in 1894 at the age of 38. Ruth died at only 20 years old, shortly after the death of baby Edgar.
