Lamar, MO March. 18 Mrs. Wilma Arnold 25, of Carthage was killed instantly and six others were injured in a three car collision on Poundstone hill five miles south of Lamar on highway 71 shortly before 9 tonight.
Listed as most seriouly injured in Barton County memorial hopital were Clarence Gallagher 27 a soldier stationed at Fort Ord, CA, Bruce Arnold 27 husband of the fatally6 injured woman.
Attendants at the hospital where the injured were taken in ambulances of the Chiles funeral home asid Gallagher suffered a broken nose and concussion. Arnold was reported to have suffered a broken nose, fractured hip and a possible serious internal injuries.
Others injured were Archie Forrester 27 a soldier stationed at Camp Crowder who suffered cuts, bruises and possible internal injuries Jesmond Dimaio 40 suffered back, head and leg injuries., Mary Dimaio 37 suffered back, leg and head injuries., Jesmond Dimaio 10 cuts and bruises.
The body of Mrs. Arnold was taken to the Chiles funeral home to await arrival of representatives of the Ulmer funeral home. Mrs. Arnold was an employee of the Porter brothers Motor Company at Carthage. Her husband is employed at the E. and A. martin Machinery Company of Joplin
