Lillie (Brown) Smith, 93, of Lima, passed away on February 12, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Lillie was born on November 14, 1928, in Jackson, Ky., the daughter of Liberty and Elnora (Combs) Vires. Both parents preceded her in death.
She was previously married to Grady Brown, and he predeceased her.
She then was married to Arthur James Smith on April 7, 1984, and he also preceded her in death.
Lillie had worked at Artex, Lima, CSS Publishing, and Fricker's Dairy in different positions. She was a hard worker and loved music.
She was a member of the Ark of the Covenant Baptist Church and was right with the Lord.
She loved to sing, and she always said, "Lock your doors." Now she's in a place where she doesn't have to lock the doors and she can sing all day to God's Glory!
Lillie had 4 children; Robert Lee (Donna, Deceased) Brown; Lawrence Jr. (Kim) Brown; Carol Jean Smith, and Lois (Andy, deceased) Vasquez.
She had 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and some great-great grandchildren. She lived a long and fruitful life and loved her family.
