Kitty was a substitute teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Abner Freeman and Doris Ivey-Freeman; a sister, Judy Stone (Ray).
Kitty is survived by her husband, James Albert Collins of the home; a son, Kyle Collins of Lumberton, NC; two daughters, Kristie Martin (Wayne) of Lumberton, NC and Erin Saunders (Adam) of Lumberton, NC; four grandchildren: Matthew, Leighann, Maddox, and Adalyn; a brother, John Freeman (Theresa) of Lumberton, NC; and a sister, Dana Kuster (Steve) of Lumberton, NC.
The funeral services will be held in East Lumberton Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Bowen officiating. The burial services will follow at Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Orrum, NC.
