JOHN J. RUSSELL
AGE 75 YEARS

John J. Russell of Waltham, formerly of Dorchester, MA, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2022. John is survived by his loving wife Marcia Hue Robinson and 2 stepchildren. John is predeceased by loving parents Robert and Catherine Russell and brother, Bob Russell. He is survived by 4 brothers and one sister, in-laws, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and colleagues.

John is a graduate of Saint William School, Boston English, Boston College and Suffolk University Law School. He was a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and practiced law for over 45 years in Boston. In recent years, he even developed a love of professional soccer. John was also a lover of the arts and enjoyed attending BSO concerts, exhibits at the MFA, plays and concerts with his wife Marcia. Our family has been incredibly blessed by John's spirit of kindness, his gift of acknowledging everyone he met, and his empathy for young people.

Interment of his cremains with Military Honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 11:15 A.M.
