Funeral Services. for Leo Madison, 72, Council Bluffs, formerly of Storm Lake, will be held Thursday, November 29, at 1:30 p.m., at the Salem United Methodist Church, Council Bluffs, with Reverend David Weesner officiating. Burial of ashes will be in Newell. McCurdy Funeral Home, Council Bluffs, is in charge of arrangements. Leo was born on March 16, 1929, in Newell, the son of Ernest Leo and Hedwig (Griffel) Madison. He married Joyce Ann Larsen and they were married for 57 years. Leo passed away on November 26. at the age of 72 years, 8 months, and 10 days. Leo was a Semi-Transport driver for over 30 years and retired in 1990. He was a member of the Treynor Recreation Fish and Game Club. Council Bluffs Senior Center and a member of the Salem United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife and two sons. Preceding him in death was his son, Wayne Madison and his parents.
