Death of Mrs. Catharine B. Hatch.
Mrs. Catharine B. Hatch, one of the oldest residents of Camden county, died yesterday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John E. Fagan, of Sixth and Cooper streets, this city, at the age of 87 years. She was born on the Browning farm, in Gloucester county, in 1809, and was a daughter of Issac and Mary Paul Browning.
In 1831 she married William Hatch, and settled on the Hatch farm, in the northeastern section of Camden county. She was the mother of Colonel William B Hatch, and at one time was the owner of the land where the present Evergreen Cemetery is located. The funeral will take place on Saturday.
