Shirley June Parks, 92, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at her home.
She was born on June 22, 1929, in Lewistown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrel W. Parks, and siblings, Robert E. Royer, Richard Lingle, Charlotte Cooney, and Betty Jane Corson.
Shirley is survived by: daughter, Shirley "Shirl" Jane Parks, of Lewistown; granddaughter, Marcy Parks; and a great-granddaughter, Darian Parks, the light of Shirley's life.
She was Methodist by faith.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown.
A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Kurt Swisher officiating.
Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
