Larry D. Hendricks, 81, of Bloomington passed away Thursday February 10, 2022 in I.U. Health Methodist Hospital. He was born November 28, 1940 in Bloomington to Herman Willet Hendricks and Doris Hazel McDonald Hendricks. He was retired from Rogers Group.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Mae Freeman Hendricks of Bloomington; a son, Dale Hendricks of Bloomington; a daughter, Rosalie "Roz" (Greg) King of Springville; seven grandchildren, Crystal (Shane Mull) King and Greg King, Jr., Rowan (Kelly), Peregrine, Griffin, Talon and Merlin Hendricks; ten great grandchildren, Cameron, Amelia, Isaac, Jayda, Isaiah, Abby, twins Tristen and Gabriel, Emily and Stephen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Richard "Buck" Hendricks and Herman Willet "Tick" Hendricks, Jr.; and a sister, Delores Bell.

Larry was of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local 841, had been a trustee of Garrison Chapel Cemetery, helped with the Boy Scouts, enjoyed working on cars, going to auctions, wood working, piddling in his shop and could fix anything.

There will be a Graveside Service on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Garrison Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel.
