Gloria "Jean" Kelly, 80, of Montpelier, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on April 17, 1941, in Montpelier to Raymond & Edna Chenoweth. Jean graduated from Montpelier High School in 1959. She formerly worked at Sheller Globe and Dollar General. Jean enjoyed crocheting, being outside, her fur babies, and especially spending time with her family.

Loving survivors include her daughters Penny (Jerry) Thomas, Portland, IN, Laura (Randy) Coleman, Pennville, IN, Brenda (Jeff) McVicker, Marion, IN, son Ron (Linda) Smith, Bluffton, IN, grandchildren John McVicker, Echo McVicker, Sarah McVicker, Jeffery McVicker, Zachary McVicker, Devin McVicker, Derek Smith, Courtney Smith, Eric Coleman, April Coleman, Jessica Reitenour, and Jeanette Garringer, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donnie Chenoweth and sister Judy Addington.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A service to celebrate Jean's life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022, with the Pastor Curtis Banks officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Montpelier.
