Terry Vincent Battcher, age 64, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at his home. He was born July 15, 1957 in Lebanon to the late Paul and Roberta Garrett Battcher.
Terry had been an employee of Hughes Excavating for many years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Tommy Batcher, two brother-in laws Don Whitehouse and Louie Triplett, and his father-in-law; Tommy Smith.
Terry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Smith Battcher of Lebanon; two daughters, Beth (Casey) Cooper of Lebanon, Paula (Ritchie) Morris of Lebanon; two sisters, Martha Whitehouse of Lebanon and Ruth Triplett of Ohio; one brother, Benny (Karen) Battcher of Lebanon; two brother-in-law's, Terry (Fran) Smith of Loretto and Joey (Maria) Smith of Louisville; one bonus brother/best friend, Wayne Hughes of Lebanon; his mother-in-law, Helen Smith of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Matthew, Vincent, Madison, Michaela, and Riley; bonus grandchild, Kallie Perkins "Meanness".
Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as many special friends from the Liar's Club at Cedar Wood, Woodlawn Grocery and Carquest.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Darren Gillespie officiating. Interment to follow in Old Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2022 at Bosley Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are, Chris Batcher, Houston Batcher, Dylan Bright, Brian Smith, Peyton Thomas, and Ronnie Mattingly.
