Jackie Lynn Stone, 79, of Oak Ridge passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 12, 1942, son of H.E. and Blanche Edith Conrad Stone. He and Carole Ruch were married May 29, 1962. She survives.
Jackie worked construction through Laborers' International Union in Cape Girardeau. He lived and worked on his cattle farm near Oak Ridge, where he enjoyed raising cattle and working around the farm. Most important to Jackie was having family around. Jackie never met a stranger and could hold a conversation with anyone.
Loving survivors include his wife, Carole; three children, Tamy (Jamie Welker) Jung, of Jackson, Ricky (Amanda Littleton) Stone of Oak Ridge and Randy (Melissa Kimes) Stone of Perryville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Landon Huber, Levi and Logan Jung and Colby Stone.
Also surviving is a sister, Wanda Lee Sparks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Bill, Loy, Leon, J.C., Roy Lee, and Donnie Stone; a sister, Velma Dobbs and an infant daughter.
The family will hold a private visitation at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Interment will follow in Old Goshen Cemetery in Oak Ridge.
