Gary Neal Thomas, age 63, of Celina, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. He was born on July 20, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Myrna Lou (Harlan) and Brunson Neal Thomas. Gary was self-employed and had successful careers in both the construction and electrical business.
He married the love of his life, Lisa Jayne Sanders in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, on September 28, 1984. Gary and Lisa were blessed with three children who are affectionately referred to as the "3 C's". He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Thomas; his children, Colin Thomas and wife, Whytney, of Denison, Caleb Thomas, and wife, Maddy, soon to be grandson, Bennett of Prosper, and daughter, Cailee Thomas of Celina; his brother, Jerry Thomas and wife, Patricia, and nephew, Adam Thomas, all of Oklahoma City. One brother in law, Steve Sanders and wife Vicki Sanders of Kingfisher, OK, and one sister in law, Brenda Sanders of Frisco. Along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, many treasured friends and business partners.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Myrna and Neal Thomas and in-laws Max and Nina Sanders.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, February 18, 2022, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr., Frisco, Texas, 75033. Interment will follow at Old Celina Cemetery in Celina, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr., Frisco, Texas, 75033.
