She was born May 23, 1927, to Raymond Sr. and Daisy (Gross) Fitzgerald in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Victor "Vic" Scheer Oct. 24, 1959, in St. Louis.
Lois enjoyed baking, especially pies, golfing, bowling, gardening, fishing and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Sr. and Daisy; stepfather, Emerson Thomas; husband Vic; siblings, Raymond Fitzgerald Jr., Lorrain Wilmsmeier and Everett Fitzgerald.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hiatt and husband Dennis of Owensville; grandchildren, Kevin Hiatt and wife Gena and Chris Hiatt and wife Samantha all of Owensville, Atianna Hiatt and fiancée Isaac DelaCruz and Isaac Hiatt all of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Eli, Chase and Zoe Hiatt, Olivia and Porter Hiatt and Cassandra and Noah DelaCruz; sister-in-law, Sue Scheer; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 18 from 4-6 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.
Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Chapel with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial will be Monday, Feb. 21 in Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis.
