Graveside services for Daphne Lewis, age 69 of DeBerry, TX will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Old Town Cemetery in Haynesville, LA with Rev. Trey Albritton officiating. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.
Daphne was born March 8, 1952, to James and Bonnie Roquemore in Carthage, TX and passed away February 12, 2022, in Tyler, TX.
She enjoyed taking drives in her mustang and loved her horses and animals of all kinds. She also liked art, painting pictures, and watching westerns and movies. Daphne was an easygoing person and would go with the flow. She liked being outside and tending to her roses and she loved spending time with her grandkids.
Daphne was preceded in death by her parents and her infant brother, Philip Roquemore.
Daphne is survived by her husband of 35 years, Mark Lewis of DeBerry, TX; two daughters: Heather Lewis of Irving, TX and Jade Lewis of Longview, TX; two sons: Garrett Lewis and Austin Lewis, both of DeBerry, TX; three grandchildren: Sara Lewis, Teagan Ramsey, and Riley Jones; two sisters: Virginia Gray of Sunnyvale, TX and Dale Collinsworth of Elm Grove, LA, her sister-in-law, Paige Thompson and husband, Ed Smith of Boynton Beach, FL.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Barmore, Scott Fordham, Garrett Lewis, and Austin Lewis.
Visitation will be 10:30 AM - 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston.
