Ruth Jean Jackson, age 81, of Temple, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022. She was born in Buena Vista, Georgia on August 5, 1940, daughter of the late Lemon Davis and the late Helen Hamilton Davis. She retired as a CNA from the nursing home industry with over 30 years dedication.
She is survived by her children: Sandra Hall (Earnest), Vanessa Andrews (Eric), Valleria Holloway, Earnest Wimbush, Robert Wimbush, Jr., Willie Lee Wimbush, Barry Timothy Wimbush, Melanie Jackson: grandchildren: Aryel, Eric Jr., Timothy, Brandon, Karess, Valesia; great-grandchildren: Serenity, Velvet, Messiah, Zuri, Kaelynn, Kaia-Jace, Naija, Kendi; sisters: Eddie Ann Davis, Annie Rose Davis, Mary Ann Davis; brothers: Floyd Davis, Eddie Davis, Andrew Davis, Jerry Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Jackson; and a grandchild: Kylia Knaromi; siblings: Eldora Davis, Rollie Mack Davis, Linda Sue Davis, Abbie Davis, Lemon Davis, Jr.
The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Sunday February 20, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 PM.
Hightower's Memorial Chapel of Douglasville has charge of the arrangements.
