Steven was born on August 19, 1991, in Twentynine Palms, California, a son of Steven Hernandez Jr. and Christina (Mulvehill) Hernandez. He married Jessica Hoskins in June of 2016 with a ceremony on the Disney Dream.
Steven was a wonderful husband, father, son, and brother who touched the lives of those around him. He dedicated his life to his family and friends. His contagious smile lit up every room. He was an amazing friend who always was willing to lend an ear or his time to whoever needed it. He was proud to be a union member with USW at Arconic and was previously a member of Local Union 25 Plumbers and Pipefitters. He loved coaching and being involved with his sons' sports teams, as he was their biggest fan.
Those left to cherish Steven's memory include his wife, Jessica; sons, Steven IV and Jaxson; parents, Steven (Miranda) Hernandez, Christina "Tina" Hernandez; siblings, Michael Hernandez, Matthew (Gabriella) Hernandez; special cousins, Tyler Reicks and Lauren Hernandez.
Steven was preceded in death by his great-grandma, Delores Blodgett; grandma, Waltraud "Trudy" Reicks; aunts, Peggy Alatorre and Michelle Mulvehill; cousins, Alexandra Romero and Rodney Alatorre who was like an uncle to him and why Steven became a Steelers fan.
Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon immediately following memorial services at the Hickory Creek Event Center located at 3504 Hickory Grove Road, Davenport, IA.
