Rebecca A. Hunley, age 91, of Sidney, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at her residence. She was born May 26, 1930 in Lee County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late George Reece and Roxie (Estes) Reece.
She married Zack Hunley on July 6, 1950, and he preceded her in death May 30, 1994. Also preceding her are son, James Hunley, daughters; Patricia Marr and Freda Hunley.
Rebecca is survived by two sons; Paul "Vic"(Debra) Hunley and Dennis (Jo) Hunley, both of Sidney, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Hunley of Sidney, grandchildren; Jeff Marr, Becky Lawhorn, Mandy, David and Brian Barhorst, Donna Hauschild, Alisha and Brandon Hunley, Jennifer Seebach, Janice Hunley, great-grandchildren; Kayla Hunley, Lexie Lenhart, Chase and Cora Barhorst, Isiah Pointer, Luke and Christopher Barhorst, Macie Hauschild, Marley and Kyle Jones, George, Bryce and Joshua Younker, Reese Lawhorn, Braydon Murray Langenkamp and McKenna Murray, Liam Hunley, great-great- grandchildren; Evan Dooley and Kade Langenkamp.
Rebecca retired after 31 years of faithful service from Dorothy Love Retirement Center in Sidney. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, quilting, canning and taking care of the elderly. She was of the Baptist faith.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Dave Shepard officiating. Burial will be held at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco.
