Sherrie was a member of the Central Christian Church in Mount Vernon and enjoyed her weekly women's bible study. Memories are able to live on through her scrapbooking and card making. Her pride and joy was her family. She never missed a sporting event (near or far) and loved family game nights, playing cards and cornhole.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, George King; children, Lisa Ward, Tricia (Shawn) Baldridge, Brian (Sarah) King; grandchildren, Jamar, Trenton, Brayden; and great-grandson, Carter.
Along with her parents, Sherrie is preceded in death by her brother, Denny Conkle.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Mound View Cemetery with Pastor Andy Beatty officiating.
