Pamela Marie Morris was born April 7, 1965 in Shirley, MA to the home of Rosemarie Ann (Grieco) and Raymond Whitson Morris and died at her home in Portales, NM on the evening of Jan. 13, 2022. Pamela lived in Columbus, GA until the age of 7 when her family moved to Midwest City, OK. She graduated from high school there in 1983, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma. Pamela loved to sing, and was a member of the choir at her church. In the early 2000's she moved to Ruidoso, NM, and then in 2010 she moved to Portales. For a time after moving to Portales, she was a member of the choir at the First United Methodist Church. More recently, she attended a nondenominational church. Pamela was an avid doll collector, and had numerous porcelain dolls and small stuffed animals.
She is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Kay Morris of Lakeland, FL, Robert and Margo Morris of Lexington, TX and Ron and Oralia Morris of Newalla, OK; as well as a number of nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
