GRAHAM, George Tiffany "Tiff", 90, of Richmond, began his new journey peacefully on February 9, 2022. Born in Washington D.C., he was a son of the late Ota and Harriette Graham. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Campbell Graham and Dr. Ota Treville Graham Jr. He was a loving father to three children, Celeste "CeCe" Combs Graham, Cynthia "Cindy" Graham McHaney (Kevin) and George "Buddy" Tiffany Graham Jr. In addition, he is survived by four grandchildren, William Graham Lipps, Catherine Grace Lipps, Christopher Gilbert McHaney and Kara Morgan McHaney; brother, William Taylor Graham II (Mary); sister, Mary Sue Atkins; and several nieces and nephews.
Tiff was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, proudly serving his country on the USS Daly DD-519. Tiff was a graduate of Virginia Tech. A general contractor, he retired after 35 years as a partner in the family business, Graham Brothers Construction. Over the years, they built a number of fine buildings in the area. He was a Past Master of Dove Lodge No. 51, A.F. & A.M, was a member of Metropolitan Lodge No. 11, A.F. & A.M., Richmond Scottish Rite Bodies and ACCA Shrine Center. Tiff loved hunting, fishing and golf. He was known affectionately as the "Mayor of Westham." Tiff was loved by his neighbors, especially those who lived on Sweetbriar Road, where he resided for 50-plus years.
The family wishes to thank Affinity Care Hospice for their care and concern during this time.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., with a Masonic Memorial Service following at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 17, at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A reception, following the burial, will take place at Deep Run Recreation Center, 9910 Ridgefield Pkwy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners' Hospitals for Children or Affinity Care Hospice.
