SHERRY L. LAWSON
Mrs. Sherry Linder Lawson, age 72, wife of Charles Richard Lawson of 122 Douglas Heights, Union, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the home of her daughter.
Mrs. Lawson was born in Union, December 27, 1949, a daughter of the late William Linder and Jenny Howell Linder Harvey and husband Mack Harvey. She was a graduate of Union High School, formerly employed with Her Majesty and was retired from Haemonetics. Mrs. Lawson was a member of Ottaray Baptist Church. She loved crafts and to do projects with her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Jennifer Hicks and fiancé, Jimmy Stines of Buffalo; a "special" daughter, Amy Bobo of Union; a son, Jamie Johnson and wife Crystal of Union; two step sons, Erik Lawson and Bryan Lawson both of Union; a sister, Harriett Williams and husband Mike of Chesnee; and a brother, Melvin Linder of Union. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tori Hicks, Cortney Hicks, Blake Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Tristin Johnson, Dustin Bobo, Javan Bobo, Eleni Worthy, Marissa Bobo, Avory Bobo and Raylan Pace; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lawson was predeceased by a brother, Steve Linder.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Merritt Wentz.
Active pallbearers will be Jason Linder, Tristin Johnson, Blake Johnson, Harley Lorenzo, Mike Williams and Nick Linder.
The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
