Original bio recorded by Marianne Dial Deadmon: Walter Norton was the son of Elijah Elisha Norton and Henrietta Ada Terry. He was born in Bridgeport, Wise County, Texas and died in Erick, Oklahoma on his 37th birthday. His death was attributed to extraction of teeth about a year earlier. He was married to Eda Price 9 October 1910; Feltsy Worley between 1910-1917; and Hattie Dunfield 28 January 1917. Hattie Norton was the mother of all his children. His funeral was at the home of Mrs T H Wilson who was the mother of Hattie.
