She left for her heavenly home on February 1, 2022 at the age of 72..
Linda loved to be on the go. She loved doing things with her family and friends such as shopping, going out to eat, movies and playing a multitude of games. She was an avid bowler for over 50 years. Linda was a member of several groups for canasta, bunco, arts and crafts, too many to name. She dearly loved her Stark High Chicks and getting together with them to go to the beach and anything else they came up with. With her daughter, her best friend, she was up for anything, no matter what it was, but especially Bingo and going to arts and crafts fairs. She loved dancing and travelling with the love of her life, Gerald. The lights of her life were her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she absolutely loved to brag about them and all of their accomplishments, whether big or small.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rabon and Helen Ricks.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 31 years, Gerald Neal Watkins of Orange, Texas, children, Rabon Ezell and wife Lori of Orange and Stormy Lin Drummond and husband Roy of Orange, grandchildren, Taylor Ezell, Lauren Ratcliff, Justin Ezell and Aiden Drummond and great-grandchildren, Brantlee Bertrand, Kai Ezell, Mason Ezell, Demi Ezell and Liam Ezell and an abundance of family and friends who all loved her dearly.
A celebration of life for Linda will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2pm at MacArthur Heights Baptist Church in Orange, Texas.
