Palmer, Tennessee – Mr. Ricky Leon Anderson, 63, passed away Saturday February 12, 2022 at his home with his family at his bedside.

He was born in Whitwell, Tennessee on October 13, 1958 to Alvin Thomas Anderson and June Partin Anderson who preceded him in death along with his brother, Thomas Wade Anderson.

Ricky was a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters Local 74 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and attended the Barkers Cove Community Church.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Jones Anderson; son, Brandon (Martha) Anderson; daughters, Jennifer Anderson, Brittany (Johnny) Anderson, Cheyene Anderson, Jasmine Anderson and Susanna Conway; brothers, Charlie (Sandra) Anderson and Tony (Buffy) Anderson; sisters, Zenia (James "Duke") Cox and Marsha (Dewayne) Privett; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Chad Smith officiating with burial to follow in the Browns Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
