Richard Barrett Parker - "Ricky" age 71 of Loudon passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at River Grove Health & Rehab.

Ricky was born to the late Sanford R. and Maxine Maggie (Hunt) Parker in Loudon, TN. Ricky was a talented welder who worked in construction. Like many young men, Ricky loved to ride motorcycles. Two unfortunate and devastating accidents left Ricky sidelined for the remainder of his life. Ricky loved to talk, to anybody, anytime and he is still waiting for his Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes check to arrive in the mail!

He is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his devoted brother and sister-in-law, Sanford "Sandy" and Gail Parker, Cleveland, TN and brother, Johnny Parker, Greeneville, TN; precious nieces whom he adored, Julie McKenzie, Ooltewah and Brandy Parker, Cookeville; great niece, Kimber and great nephew, Christian, both of Ooltewah.

Services honoring and remembering Ricky Parker will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, Jan. 30th graveside in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens with Rev. J.W. Smith officiating.

If you desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org.

The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:30 PM Sunday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N, Loudon.
