Roberto Daniel "Danny" Duran of Azle, Texas passed away on February 10, 2022 at the age of 41. He was born on June 2, 1980 to Ernesto Garcia Duran and Brenda Denise (Sperry) Duran in Commerce, Texas. Danny grew up in Commerce, where he graduated from Commerce High School in 1999. He worked in landscaping all of his life. Danny loved fishing and baseball. He was very outgoing, and he never met a stranger. Danny was of Catholic faith.
Danny is survived by his mother, Brenda Duran Villarreal and husband, Lee of Azle, Texas; son, Jordan Walker of Muskogee, Oklahoma; grandson, River Walker; brother, James Micah Duran of Ft. Worth, Texas; nephews, Dalton Duran and Logan Duran; aunts, Donna Kaczor and husband, Tim of Van Alstyne, Texas and Gail Storie and husband, Randy of High Hill, Missouri; and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernesto Garcia Duran.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 14, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
