OBITUARY

Raymond E Hall
August 16, 1934 ~ February 10, 2022 (age 87)

Obituary
Raymond Edward Hall passed on to glory on February 10, 2022, at the age of 87 in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Ray fought hard and ran every stop of his race to the very end.

Ray was a loving, tenacious and fervent man. He worked hard his entire life, first serving his family in Wheelwright, KY helping run the family grocery store. He later joined the United States Air Force and spent 23 years serving his country. He soared into a career at Martin Marietta and worked on the Titan Team launching rockets into space. Finally, after working two full careers he "retired" and found his way into starting what has grown to be the largest Prison Book Project in the world. Ray said, "We cannot be more than we are, we should not be a fraction less." He lived that out until the end serving the Lord and others with all he had in him.

Ray met and married his first wife Kazuko in Japan in 1956, they had 3 beautiful children together and were happily married until her passing in 2012. After her passing Ray married Joyce Hege Hall in 2014 and added two more lovely daughters to his family.

Ray is survived by his wife Joyce Hege Hall, and children, Edward Hall, Terri (Kevin) Hall Stewart, and Steven Hall, Kristen (Tyler) Hall and Ashton (Josh) Kriner, his sister Barbara Hall Gullett and 10 grandchildren, Chasity, Gabbi, Jarrid, Marina, Midori, Marie, Jehoshua, Elizabeth, Jedididiah and Nehemiah and 7 great grandchildren, Benjamin, Grant, Emalee, Kylee, Sophia, and twin boys coming this year. Ray is preceded in death by his first wife Kauzuko Umezu Hall, parents Everett and Mattie Hall, and his brother Robert Hall.
