Anna Bernardine Smith, 80, of Bardstown, passed away Friday February 11, 2022 at Riverview Village in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born November 15, 1941 in Jefferson County, a retired dietary technician from Colonial Health & Rehab, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.



She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Newton; parents, Ules and Ursula Riggs; four brothers, James Riggs, Harold Riggs, Russell Riggs, and Joseph David Riggs; and sister, Mary Theresa "Dolly" Fox.



She is survived by her daughter, Annette Blaine of Bardstown; seven grandchildren, Suzanne Blaine, Stephanie Blaine, Jessica McGuire, Johnny Blaine, Brandon Newton, Skyler Blaine, and Dylan Blaine; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Cyril Riggs; four sisters, Grace Flannery, Betty Smith, Beulah Burgin, and Faye Smith; and several nieces and nephews.



Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday February 16, 2022 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Pastor Leland Parks will officiate. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Tuesday February 15 and 9 – 11 am Wednesday February 16 at Barlow Funeral Home.
