January 11, 2022

Terry "TD" Fred Davis Sr. was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 15, 1956 to Freddie Davis, Sr. and Mimbry Parker Champman, "Baby Sister". His parents preceded him in death.

"TD" attended IPS #44, John Marshall, and Northwest High School. He professed a hope in Christ and was baptized at an early age. Terry worked for DOT for several years then later found his passion in landscaping just like his father. He then started his own business, TD's Landscaping. Terry was also an active NA Member where he was a sponsor for many years. He was a previous member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Kingsley Church of Christ, and Christ Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. He was an active member of Grace Memorial Missionary Baptist Church where he and his family attended. He proudly served on the Usher Board and loved his church members.

"TD" was married to Darlene Butler in 1993 and 2 children came from this union. Terry loved his children. He gave them all their own special nicknames, because he had already named all of them after him.

"TD" was an excellent swimmer. He was 2nd runner up at the YMCA National Tournament in 1970. He loved fishing, skating, and spending quality time with his friends and family.

"TD" loved living life; he met no strangers; he loved everyone. "TD" loved spending quality time with his grandchildren. He always displayed deep love for his family.

"TD" was truly blessed. His sister, Ernestine "Tina" Parker preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his companion of twenty years, Felicia Oldham; daughters, Terri A. Davis, Tenae Terri Davis; sons, Mark Miles, Jr., DeVondric Johnson, Jaiwane Thomas, and Terry F. Davis, Jr.; mother, Ernestine (Rev. William) Moye; sisters, Karen (Keith), Ronda, and Yolaunda Davis; brothers, Freddie, Jr. (Johnetta), and Daryl (Beverly) Davis; grandchildren, Shanila Sloan, Isiah Finch, Elijah Finch, Myla Fields, and Aubree Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him very much.
