Mrs. Stacy Britt Stone, 57, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born January 24, 1965 in Robeson County, NC to the late Lowell Campbell and the late Ida Lee Bostic Campbell.
Stacy selflessly served as a Registered Nurse for 28 years in North Carolina and South Carolina. She loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was passionate about cooking and entertaining, along with gardening, riding her motorcycle, and reading.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Jerry Campbell, Phillip Campbell, and Eric Campbell; and one sister, Susan Meekins.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Stone of the home; her daughter, Stacie Harrison Britt of Bladenboro, NC; a stepson, Jesse of Aberdeen, NC; and three stepdaughters: Kara of Aberdeen, NC, Theresa Britt of Ft. Stewart, GA, and Amanda Zobrist of San Antonio, TX; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Long Branch Baptist Church, 8878 NC Hwy 72 in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiating. Burial will follow in Walters Family Cemetery, 4640 Creek Road in Orrum, NC.
