Mary was born on September 29, 1927 in Beaverton Twp., Michigan to John and Marion (Drummond) Uhl. She was married on September 24, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to Grant E. Murray. The couple moved to Prudenville in 1985 from Bridgeport. She enjoyed making comforters, cross stitching, crocheting, sewing, cooking and truly making her house a home. She loved being outdoors where she would tend to her garden and enjoy nature.
Mary is survived by her loving children; William (Kathleen) Murray, Amy (James) O'Brien, Michael Murray and Patrick (Heidi) Murray, grandchildren; Ashley (Derek) Massey, Candy (Jeremy) Warner, Cole (Tracey) Redding, Elizabeth (Jacob) McDuell and Joshua Murray, great grandchildren; James Massey, Brenden Massey, Miles Warner and Oliver Warner. The family would like to give special thanks to Sharon Uhl and her family for their unconditional love, support and assistance in caring for Mary. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Grant E. Murray, brothers; John P. Uhl, Jerry (Nick) Kanakis and William Uhl, and daughter-in-law; Diane Murray.
Funeral Services for Mary Louise Murray will be conducted at Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held the same day from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Father Bernard Tyler will be officiating. Interment will be in Denton Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Mary are asked to be directed to the family. Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
