Bonnie Lou Blevins, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Imadell Jackson; her husband of 26 years of marriage, Homer Blevins, Sr.; one brother, Lee Jackson; and one sister, Mary Widener. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved all of her family and cherished time with her children and grandchildren. Bonnie loved her Lord and was a proud Christian. It was known by her family and friends that she was the best cook around.

She is survived by her three children, Jeanie Frye and husband Chris, Sabrina Meadows and husband Adam, and Homer Blevins, Jr. and wife Heather; four sisters, Doris Barrett, Hilda Forester, Linda Allison, and Lorretta Nester; four brothers, Ricky, Ernest, Thomas "Jr.", and Billy Jackson; three grandchildren, Jaelyn Blevins, Jordan Frye and wife Christina, Jessica Waddle and husband Zach; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins and special friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Mount Rose Cemetery with Pastor Andy Hunt and Pastor Buster Mullins officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
