GIVENS, Scott Jason, born May 13, 1975, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at the age of 46.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home.

Scott is preceded in death by his mother Margie Hayes Givens and his brother Johnny Ray Givens. He is survived by his wife Amanda Cooper Givens; daughter Morgan Gensel; grandson Alexander Gensel; father and bonus mom John T. (Rhonda) Givens; sisters Karen Givens Cook (Jerry & family), and Bridget Ballentine (Marcus Jennings).

Scott spent most of his adult life working in the Glass business with family owned Independent Glass and Best Glass. Scotts favorite hobbies were playing pool, working with his hands, whether he was making beautiful wooden pieces, working in vehicles, helping friends with odd jobs or happiest when getting to do what he loved: making people happy. Scotts newest favorite pass time has been spending time with his grandson, who he affectionately referred to as "My Boy". Scott was the most generous man to his family, friends, and everyone he would encounter. He made the world brighter and will be deeply missed.
