Roger was born in Boise City, Ok. to Guy & Gladys Ottinger. He was the eldest brother of Doug, Nolan, Larry, & Nancy.
Roger attended all 12 years of schooling in Boise City, graduating in 1972. He attended Panhandle State University and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education. While attending PSU, he participated in ROTC.
Roger made Christ the Lord of his life at the age of nine. He loved his church family. He looked forward to the annual Cowboy Camp meeting each year.
Roger moved to Boise City to help care for his mom. He began working for Cimarron County in Boise City.
Roger is preceded in death by his dad and one brother, Doug.
Funeral Services were Friday, February 11, 2022 at Wheeless Baptist Church with Pastor Galen Smith presiding. Funeral Arrangements provided by Henson - Novak Funeral Home, Boise City, Ok.
