Chief Warrant Officer Three (Ret.) Brian T. Martin, 47, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born Friday, May 17, 1974, and blessed to be adopted by Howard and Judith (Miller) Martin of Apple Creek, OH. He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Martin.

Brian was a proud US Army Veteran who served his country for over 20 years as a Parachute Rigger. After retiring from the Army, he was a JRTC instructor at the Cumberland Valley High School. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cheering for his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, but more than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family and serving Christ. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his children: Hanah, Lucas, and Delaney Martin; brother, Stephen Martin and fiancée Anita Zimmerman; and niece, Emilaine Martin.

A funeral will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A viewing will take place from 9AM until the start of the service. Burial will take place at a later date with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.

A memorial service is tentatively scheduled in Wooster, OH, on Saturday, March 5, 2022.
