Kenneth David Powell age 57 of Norman, Oklahoma passed away February 4th 2022 in the comfort of his home.

Kenny was born to James and Janie Powell in Norman on October 4th 1964. He was a 1982 graduate of Norman High School and attend Rose State College.

He remained in Norman except for a short time when he lived in Austin, Texas....

Kenny was known for his love of life. He enjoyed hearing stories and jokes and was always the loudest laugh in the room.

Kenny worked as a machinist at Walker Machine & Fabrication, Newcastle, OK.

Kenny enjoyed many hobbies including Rocketry, drag racing, music, fishing, and was an avid OU football fan with a special interest in recruiting. He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted son, protective father, and cherished brother.

Kenny was preceded in death by his son Tyler Powell, Paternal grandparents Selmar and Dimie Powell of Washington, OK and Maternal grandparents William and Bea Cargill of Norman, OK....

A visitation for Kenneth will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071.

A Celebration of Kenny's Life will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Meating Place 121 E. Main St. Norman, OK 73069.
