Anthony (Tony) Sewell, age 63 departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022. He was born on June 8, 1958.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Sewell; mother, Louise Oetjen; grandparents, Vester and Dovie Millsaps Flowers; uncles, Gordon Flowers and Carl Teasley; and aunt, Linda Ray Flowers.
He is survived by his aunt, Linda Sue Flowers Teasley; 1st cousin, Teresa Flowers Haynes; 2nd cousins, Jacob and Lucas Haynes, along with many other cherished family members and close friends.
Tony was initiated as an Enter Apprentice on January 27, 1986, into the Dalton masonic Lodge. He passed the degree of Fellow Craft on February 24, 1986, and rose to the Degree of Master Mason of March 24, 1986. Due to not being to attend the Dalton meetings, he petitioned the Tilton Masonic Lodge in 2012 for a plural membership with the Dalton Masonic Lodge. He later obtained a demit from the Dalton masonic Lodge and became a full member at the Tilton Masonic Lodge where he was serving as a Junior Deacon at the time of his passing. He was a dedicated member who could be counted on to be there if the doors were open. His contagious smile and easy-going way endeared him to all the Masonic Brethren.
He will be sorely missed by all.
