Wilma Mann Bailey, 97, of Princeton, WV passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022.
Born May 23, 1924 at Neponset, WV she was the daughter of the late Opie R. Mann and Rhoda Via Mann.
Wilma was a 1941 graduate of Princeton High School. She worked as a sales associate at Snead's Department Store until they went out of business. She worked at the former Acme Supermarket for seventeen years until retirement. She was a volunteer at Princeton Community Hospital in the gift shop receiving her pin for 30 years of service. She also volunteered at the WV Welcome Center in Princeton and the American Red Cross.
She was a long standing member of Kee Street United Methodist Church since 1942. She was also a member of the Ever Ready Sunday School Class, Weatherford Circle, and Kathy's Morning Circle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Bailey; a sister, June Mann Roberts and her husband Otis Lee Roberts; a brother Bill Russell and wife Janet Mann; a brother Buddy O'Neill and wife JoAnne Mann; a grandson Barron Edward Sage; and granddaughter Tanya Denise Sage.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Bailey Sage and husband Paul Edward Sage of Glenwood; granddaughter Stephanie Sage Shrader of Princeton; four great-grandchildren, Bethany Hudgins, Samantha Sage, Emily Smiley, and Collin Jeffries; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 12:00 Noon with Mark S. Shrader officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton.
