Leroy was a member of Monaghan Baptist Church and founder of Leroy Dyer and Sons Sign Company. He loved to study God's word and never missed an opportunity to share his testimony. One of his favorite past times was to spend time at his vacation home in the mountains and to spend time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Steve (Charlene) Dyer, and Dawn (Edward) Morgan; eight grandchildren, Marissa (Chris) Rowe, Cheryl (Seth) Bryant, Spenser (Danielle) Morgan, Kiefer Jones, Kelby Jones, Drew Dyer, Devin Dyer and Dakota Dyer; three great grandchildren, Scarlette Jones, Owen Bryant, and Charlotte Bryant.
Leroy was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Marion Beeks Dyer; children, Celeste Jones, and Leroy Dyer Jr.; grandson, Samuel Morgan; and brothers, John Dyer, Ernest Dyer, and Ralph Dyer.
Burial in Graceland Cemetery West.
