Susan Jane Hicks, 69 of Richwood, died early Sunday morning February 6, 2022 at the Embassy of Marion.

She was born February 25, 1952 in Marion to the late Alpha Clarence and Wilma Faye (Shirk) Emmons. She was also preceded in death by brothers: James, Larry and Calvin Emmons.

Sue was a homemaker. She loved to crochet, do puzzles and most importantly had a deep love of Jesus and her dog buddy. She loved her family, her husband, kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her favorite colors are blue and purple. She will be missed by the many nieces, nephews and friends in her life. She belonged to the Heart of God Ministries International.

Surviving is her husband, William Joe Hicks, they were married May 3, 1969 in Marion.
Children: Angela Schuster of LaRue, William Hicks Jr. of Marion, Tamara Hicks of Marion and
Zona Caskey of Marion
Grandchildren: Brian Schuster II, Lucas Schuster, JD Jones, Tressie Hicks, Cody Piersol, Brianna Caskey and Bayley Caskey

Siblings: Sharon Bell, Carol Amos, Mike Emmons all of Marion

Funeral services will be held Thursday February 10, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Pastor Jane Hileman will officate. Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 5 pm at the funeral home in Richwood. Private burial will take place in the Claibourne Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Hicks family to help with unexpected expenses.
