Mr. Taylor was born in Christian County, KY, on March 17, 1936, the son of the late Cleveland W. and Goldie M. Rogers Taylor. He was a veteran in the US Army. Luther was a conductor for the Milwaukee Railroad. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey D. Taylor; his brother, Russell Taylor, and his sister, Dorothy Bearden.
Survivors include his sister, Jo Nell Edwards of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
