Luther Donald Taylor, age 85, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a graveside service to be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West at 1:00PM on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Taylor was born in Christian County, KY, on March 17, 1936, the son of the late Cleveland W. and Goldie M. Rogers Taylor. He was a veteran in the US Army. Luther was a conductor for the Milwaukee Railroad. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey D. Taylor; his brother, Russell Taylor, and his sister, Dorothy Bearden.
Survivors include his sister, Jo Nell Edwards of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
